Snooki's pregnancy is no longer a secret.

That's right! Reality star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is indeed expecting her first child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle. Snooki shot down pregnancy rumors earlier this month, but now news has come forward that she is hiding her pregnancy for "professional" reasons.

According to the NYPost: 

MTV went into crisis mode after they found out,” said a source. “They’re trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show. ”

That show being the Jersey Shore spinoff with best friend and roommate Jenni “JWoww” Farley. The untitled new show has just begun taping in Jersey City and focuses on the ladies’ relationship as friends and roommates, highlighting whatever adventures come their way.

The 4-foot star is known for her hard partying ways and MTV is not to sure how viewers will react. Sources say Snooki has already broken a deal to announce the news on the cover of Us Weekly after shopping the story to several celebrity magazines.

This is surprising news, because Snooki told GMA's Lara Spencer on February 2nd: “I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant . . . Being pregnant should be a real thing and a happy thing, and I’m not."

What an interesting season this is going to be. We'll be watching the spinoff show to see how Snooki handles this news.
