The TV gods have answered our prayers! The Simpsons will officially be coming back for at least two more seasons.

The animated show started back in 1989 and is a favorite amongst multiple generations. Luckily, the show has come to terms with Fox after differences between the voice cast and studio almost brought the classic to a permanent halt.

According to a network statement made last night the whole clan will continue to entertain us for a 24th and 25th season in what will bring the total number of episodes up to 559.

While no other details were provided, viewers can look forward to watching the epic 500th episode when it airs on February 19, 2012.
