You see that’s why the Mowry twins are so loved. Because everyone can relate and they are just so approachable. Tia was completely open and honest in our interview and she talked about her new born son Cree, motherhood and the moment she’s most nervous about the world seeing on her new reality show. Check out our interview below.

GlobalGrind: In the 6 weeks since your son Cree was born, what have you learned about parenting?

Tia Mowry: “I’ve learned that things don’t always go your way and I become humbled by that. When you’re an actress, it’s all about me, me, me. But, when you’re a child, everything changes — it’s all about him. He is my motivation. I am going back to work and making money and doing things for him. It’s for him, it’s not for me anymore. It really is for him, he’s my motivation.

On Twitter you said that you just did a photoshoot with US Weekly with Cory and Cree. How excited are you to see that published?

I’m really, really, really excited. Cree was so adorable and it was his first photoshoot. I know everybody and the fans are excited to see him. I’m really excited for the fans to see him and introduce him to the world.

Was he camera shy at all?

Yeah, babies have a mind of their own. They are the boss, so Cree would be fine for five to ten minutes and all of a sudden he would start wailing and it’s like okay, time to feed him, time to change him. It was definitely interesting and fun at the same time.

The show comes on Monday’s on The Style Network. Are there any moments on the show that you’re nervous about the world seeing or are you prepared for anything?

I’m nervous about people seeing me gain weight. I’m nervous about people seeing me get to the biggest I’ve ever been. I’ve already lost 27 pounds. So they’ll see me with that added on 27 pounds and I bloated up. You see lots of celebrities blow up during their pregnancy and go into hiding. Not me, I was freaking filming on television! It was extremely vulnerable for me but it is what it is and I’m strong.

We’ll be sure to tell everyone to watch the show on Monday and we will be tuned in. Talk to you soon!

Thanks!
