The new year has just begun but we already have so much to look forward to. One thing we're excited about in particular is the second season of TV One's Unsung.

Incase you are unfamiliar, Unsung is an NAACP Image Award-winning series of one-hour biographies celebrating the lives and careers of successful artists or groups who, despite great talent, have not received the level of recognition they deserve or whose stories have never been told.

Beginning Monday, January 2 at 10 PM ET and also re-airing at 1 AM EST, Unsung will showcase ten of black music's most talented artists and groups. This season will chronicle the careers of legends Vesta Williams, Bobby Womack, Atlantic Starr, Freddie Jackson, Full Force, Millie Jackson, Ray Parker Jr., Sheila E. (and the E. Family), David Ruffin and Whodini.
