Shaquille O'neal proves it's never too late to get yourself a degree!

The retired NBA baller recently graduated from Florida's Barry University, receiving a doctorate in Education yesterday.

On his latest accomplishment Shaq tells reporters:

"I am proud to have achieved a doctoral degree and wish to thank my professors and Barry University for helping make this dream a reality. I'm smart enough to know that, even at my tender age, my pursuit of education is never finished."

The Superman fanatic has been working towards his degree for the last 4 and a half years and his girl Hoopz was right by his side at graduation to celebrate the big day.

O'Neal graduates with a 3.81 grade point average and already has a Bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University and an MBA he received in 2005.

What a winner! We wonder if his degrees sit right along with his NBA championship rings?
