Shocking photos of Whitney Houston in her golden casket have been published by The National Enquirer.
The weekly tabloid has obtained chilling photos of the fallen music icon. The Enquirer published the shocking photos, taken after Whitney was laid to rest in her golden coffin. She is seen wearing her favorite purple dress and gold slippers on her feet.
Whitney's body was flown from Los Angeles, where she passed away at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11th, and taken to the Wigham Funeral home in Newark, New Jersey on February 13th. Only her mother Cissy Houston, daughter Bobbi Kristina and other immediate family and close friends were able to view Whitney's body at the private wake on February 17. The photo that was released was taken at the private viewing, however it is not revealed who took what looks like a camera-phone picture.
Others in attendance included Dionne Warwick and record executive Clive Davis. They arrived in a gold limousine and Cissy and Bobbi held hands as they walked in. Speaking outside the home, funeral director Caroline Wigham said: “The viewing was done in privacy. It was between a mother, a daughter, two brothers and a family.”
Who would have dared to take the shocking photos? No answer on that yet.
