Coach Lynn’s Money Message:
You may think you have enough money today, but you don’t know what expenses you will have tomorrow. If you make $30,000 a year and you spend $50,000, you’re no different than someone who makes a million dollars a year and spends 2 million. You’re both upside down and stressed out! So live below your means and implement the 10 – 10 - 30 – 50 Rule: 10% is for tithing/giving; 10% is for saving; 30% is cash in your pocket for incidentals, gas, and groceries (it has to be cash so you will not fall prey to a spending addiction); and 50% remains in your bank or Rushcard account for your bills.
