Is it OK to have more than one account on Global Grind?Unfortunately, having more than one account violates our Terms & Conditions. We want to make sure that our ratings are accurate and not inflated by false accounts.
I want to delete my account. How do I do that?You can request for account removal by contacting support@globalgrind.com. Make sure to e-mail us from the e-mail address associated with your Global Grind account. Please keep in mind that this action cannot be reversed.
How do I change my e-mail address?Click the EDIT ACCOUNT tab from your profile. There you will find the CHANGE EMAIL ADDRESS option at the bottom of the page. Click the UPDATE button to save your settings. Go to edit account now.
How can I hide my profile?From the PROFILE page, click the EDIT ACCOUNT button. On this page under the PRIVACY SETTINGS, you will see a button for options you wish to be made PUBLIC or PRIVATE. Select this option next to "My Profile" and other users will not be able to see any information about you.
How do I change my privacy settings?From the PROFILE page, click on EDIT ACCOUNT. Halfway down this page you will see PRIVACY SETTINGS. Here you can choose what details you would like to keep private and which you would like to have available to the public. To hide your entire profile, all the fields should be marked PRIVATE. Click the UPDATE button at the bottom of the page to save your settings. Go to edit account now.
Where can I change my password?From the PROFILE page, click on the EDIT ACCOUNT tab. There you will find the CHANGE PASSWORD option. Enter your current password and a new password. Click the UPDATE button to save your settings.
How do I add/remove my mobile phone number to receive text alerts?From the PROFILE page, click the EDIT ACCOUNT tab. There you will find the MOBILE PHONE option. Either add or delete your mobile phone number, choose your mobile provider (if adding your number) and click UPDATE. Go to edit account now.
Why do I have to sign up for an account to submit a piece of content, grind, trash, share, or comment?Global Grind is all about personal expression. In order to make sure we
accurately reflect your unique opinion, we ask you to – okay, we make
you - sign up for an account so you can get credit for all the
commenting, Grinding, trashing, and sharing you do. If you are just
browsing through content, no need to sign up.

Global Grind Mobile
Can I get Global Grind on my Mobile phone?Yes. There area two easy ways to get Global Grind on your mobile:
1. Type m.globalgrind.com into your mobile browser 2. Text GGRIND to 41411.
The m.globalgrind.com mobile portal is accessible through every major mobile carrier: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Alltel, U.S. Cellular
How do I navigate the mobile version?It’s easy to get back to the Global Grind “homepage” simply click on the “G” icon (located at the top of any page) or on the house icon (located at the bottom of any page).
Why can I not view videos or add content to the mobile version?Due to the limitations of mobile technology, adding new content and viewing videos on Global Grind from our mobile application is not possible at this time.
Grinding, Trashing & Sharing
How do I invite a friend to Global Grind?Click INVITE on the upper right hand corner of any page and enter your friends' email addresses (separated by a comma, of course) and a personal message. Or click the icon for your email provider to import contacts from Hotmail, Yahoo!, Gmail, MSN, or AOL.
How do I share content?You can share stories, videos and photos from Global Grind by clicking on the SHARE tab found on all Detail Pages. You can add e-mail addresses, import addresses from your Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, MSN or Yahoo! accounts or click on the Quicklist link if you want to share with someone you've already sent content to. Add an optional message and click SUBMIT and an e-mail from you will be sent to your friends.
Is it a duplicate story if I submit a similar story but from a different source?There can be a number of different takes on the same stories, photos and videos. Global Grind treats each URL (web address) as unique, so similar content from different sources can co-exist on Global Grind.
How can I delete a story I submitted?Sorry, once a story has been submitted it cannot be deleted.
How can I edit a story I submitted?Sorry, once a story has been submitted there is no way to edit it.
Submitting
To submit content to Global Grind click SUBMIT A LINK TO GLOBAL GRIND on the right hand side of any page.
You will then be directed to the submission process. Copy and paste the URL of the story, photo or video into the URL field. Then SELECT THE MEDIA TYPE to identify if this is a text article, photo or video. Click NEXT to proceed. Click BACK to correct any information.
Give your submission a title and description (these are mandatory). Click NEXT to proceed. Click BACK to correct any information.
Now select the photo from the list that you would like to accompany your title and headline submission. Click BACK to correct any information.
Assign your content up to 3 sub-categories.
Now you may tag your story, photo or video with either our suggested tags or your own. Preview your submission and click FINISH if you are satisfied or BACK to correct any information.
Upon successful submission, you will see the message, "SUBMISSION SUCCESS."
Using Global Grind
Can I report a bug/problem or give feedback?Global Grind thrives on user feedback. We want to hear from you! At the bottom of each Global Grind page, there is a FEEDBACK link. Click it and you will be directed to our Feedback page where we have already filled in your name and e-mail (but you can change these if need be). Choose an Inquiry Type and then add your message. Once you're done, click SUBMIT and your feedback will reach the Global Grind team.
