Clearly Phoebe Philo is Kanye West‘s favorite designer obsession.
On Twitter, the Chicago native tweets about new Philo garments and praises her in song.
“I’m just a Chi-town ni*** with a Nas flow, and my chick in that new Phoebe Philo,” West rapped on his song, “Dark Fantasy,” shouting out the designer.
Later, Kanye would famously wear one of Philo’s Celine womenswear shirts at this year’s Coachella (pictured above).

The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) is embracing the fashion-passionate hip-hop entity that is Kanye and giving him a chance to honor one of his style idols. They’ve asked him to present the International Award to Philo at the CFDA Awards this year.
Phoebe made her big comeback to the design scene with Celine after leaving Chloe in 2006 to focus on her family.
The awards ceremony will take place on Monday, June 6th at Lincoln Center. It’ll be interesting to see how Kanye and Phoebe react to each other.
