Adored actressSandra Bullock already owns property in New Orleans and her hometown of Austin, Texas.

But the Oscar winner has decided to lay down some roots on the West Coast as well. The “Blind Side” star has forked over an insane $23 million on a huge Tudor style mansion in Beverly Hills, California as a Los Angeles base for herself and her two-year-old adopted son Louis.

Set on more than four park-like acres and surrounded by an expansive lawn, the two-story house looks more like an Old English stately home than something you would find in the hills above Hollywood.

The main house, built in 1940, has a screening room, a library, a basement and it’s own fully equipped gym.

There are seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms including a huge master suite bay windows and a luxurious bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Nice!

The house also has a giant chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar as well as doors that lead out onto a dining patio.

The interior of the house is still very traditional in style with wood panelled walls, dark wood floors and built in book cases and because of this, Sandra has reportedly chosen to fully renovate the property to suit her needs and tastes. Check out photos of the mansion!
