Reigning from Atlanta, 2 Chainz, formerly of Playaz Circle, is beginning to experience the fame he's been working so hard to achieve. 

He's collaborated on tracks with everyone from Drake and Kanye West, to even pop stars like Justin Bieber.

Let's not forget to mention, 2 Chainz recently joined Yeezy's G.O.O.D music family and will be featured on their forthcoming compilation album, Cruel Summer. 

GlobalGrind caught up with 2 Chainz on the 2012 BET Awards red carpet, where we talked about Based On A T.R.U. Story's expectations and the hottest producers on his forthcoming album.

When asked about details on his new album, 2 Chainz replied: 

"I'm from Atlanta and I feel like I'm putting on for my city...for the most part I'm going to continue to do what I do as far as having that balance of the streets and then having a couple of joints for the ladies." 

2 Chainz's Def Jam debut album, Based On T.R.U. Story, hits store shelves August 14.
