Not only are they releasing their new album The 2nd Law on September 18th, the first single was chosen to be the official song of the 2012 London Olympic Games.

"Survival" is all about winning, as Matthew Bellamy sings:

"Race, life's a race/And I'm gonna win"

But everyone knows what matters most during the Olympics is the peaceful coming together of everyone around the world in friendly competition - participation is what counts most, not winning or losing.

The visuals for the song celebrate some of the most poignant moments from Olympics past.
