Apparently, 50 Cent got it bad because he's brown.
In a recent interview with MTV, the "stanky rich" rapper revealed that he thinks white artists like Lady Gaga have it easy in the music industry.
Amid his battle with his label and his new album "Black Magic," 50 said that his blackness has gotten in the way of releasing "Black Magic."
This is what 50 had to say about Lady Gaga:
"When you say Lady Gaga, pop artist, they want them to just deliver a song. Her records go to Top 40 and crossover radio immediately. You can't really compare it to any artist that would be considered a pop artist or a white artist."
50 has been struggling to achieve pop success on the radio over the past few years and he blames part of that on him being a Black artist.

Attributing skin color to how fast an artist achieves pop success, 50 said he can't do whatever he pleases musically because he won't get the same coverage as his white counterparts.
50 went on to say that he only receives adequate support on Black radio stations, "What we consider urban radio or rhythmic radio was referred to as black radio at one point. That right there, is something I'm conscious of."
So is 50 right? Do artists like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have it easier because they're white? Or is 50 playing the race card?
With that said, there's something to consider, if Lady Gaga was Black, do you think she'd be at the top of Forbes list? If your answer is no, then 50 Cent may have a point.
Does 50 have it bad because he's brown, or is race not a factor? Tell us what you think.
