Adele's gigantic sophomore album, 21, has surpassed Michael Jackson's iconic Thriller in album sales in the United Kingdom.

21 sold an astounding 4,274,300 copies, which is about 500 more than the Michael Jackson masterpiece has sold.

Currently, Adele stands at number five on the 10 highest selling albums in the UK.
