Yesterday, up-and-coming rapper Angel Haze released one of the most personal and brave songs you’ll ever hear.

VIDEO: Angel Haze “Werkin Girls”

Spitting over Eminem’s “Cleaning Out my Closet” beat, Angel bravely raps about years of sexual abuse she suffered through, starting from the young age of seven.

MUSIC: Angel Haze Releases “Reservation” EP

She’s blunt, descriptive and honest as she details everything from when it first happened, to how the rape changed her over the years.

Be warned: the language is direct and graphic (at one point she raps about bleeding after being sodomized.)

It’s harrowing, courageous stuff, and we’re proud of you, Angel. We hope it helps you heal any old wounds you have.

Check the song out below and look out for Angel’s new mixtape Classick, which drops on Tuesday.
