Ever since George Zimmerman was found not guilty of murder, hip-hop has universally been supportive of Trayvon Martin. There were numerous tweets and tracks released following the acquittal.

Yesterday, A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg stopped by 106 & Park to promote Ferg’s latest single, “Shabba.” The first question asked was about the Zimmerman verdict.

The two were wearing hoodies and Rocky admitted that the reason they were doing so was to honor the teen, who was killed while wearing a grey hoodie.

Here’s what Rocky said:

“We both got hoodies on right now, so I just I want to say R.I.P. to him and I think it’s unfortunate the way things went down because I didn’t see any justice, but that’s just my biased opinion I guess being a young black brother who wears a lot of hoodies. Know what I mean? I want to send blessings and peace to his family.”

After the somewhat somber moment, it was business as usual: Ferg and Rocky talked about Ferg’s Trap Lord album, which drops on August 20th, while Lord Flacko introduced the entire A$AP Mob.
