BEHIND THE SCENES: Azealia Banks "Liquorice" (VIDEO)

This week, the amazing Azealia Banks premiered her video for her new song “Liquorice” off her new EP 1991.

The Yung Rapunxel rapper takes us behind the scenes of the video to show how she gets in to her role as a cowgirl in the desert!

The video was directed by Rankin and styled by Lady Gaga’s very own stylist, Nicola Formichetti.

Apparently, Azealia wanted the video to be higher end, with a higher budget, as she said behind the scenes:

We can’t do another $50 video, so let’s come up with something that’s gonna look like some money.

While Azealia’s fame has blown up this year, she said of it:

I actually thought it would happen sooner.
