Rappers and ad-libs go hand in hand like a bowlegged woman and a knock-kneed man.

Ad-libs are those fun and spontaneous phrases that a few R&B singers like to throw in their songs just to give it a little extra flavor. 

Ad-libs are typically used in a light-hearted manner, but don't think you can take someone's ad-lib without getting into trouble.

Last week, R&B singer Trey Songz sent a cease and desist letter to a reality TV star David Hester from Storage Wars for using his trademarked ad-lib "YUUUP!"

As a result of Trey's warning letter, David Hester fired back with a lawsuit demanding his right to use the ad-lib "YUUUP!" during his auctions on the show. 

The two "YUUUP!" loving men are still battling in court, but GlobalGrind decided to round up our 15 personal favorite rap ad-libs.
