Brandee Harpist Explains Her Dedication To Trayvon Martin (VIDEO)

Brandee Younger's influence on the music industry hit with the stroke of a harp, and since then, she has been featured on tracks with the likes of Common, Drake and Ryan Leslie. 

When Trayvon Martin was killed back in February of this year, Brandee struggled to find a way to express her emotions about the incident, so she did what most artists do, she confided in her art; she turned to her harp.

Brandee composed one of the most beautiful Trayvon Martin tributes with her song titled "He Has A Name (Awareness)" in an effort to wake up the masses to the racial injustice in our country. 

We had the pleasure of having Brandee swing by the GlobalGrind offices to speak about the first time she heard about Trayvon Martin and what inspired her to produce the perfect melody in his memory.
