Yep, pop stars can beef with rappers, too.
A couple of days ago, popular South African rap group Die Antwoord released a video for “Fatty Boom Boom,” one of the standouts off their Ten$ion album.

The video is eccentric in a Die Antwoord kinda way. What makes it particularly interesting is that in the video there is a man dressed up like Lady Gaga, even wearing some of her signature freaky clothes, going through some crazy sh*t. (We won’t give too much away, but we’ll just say there’s a demented gynecologist here.)

Yep, there’s a back-story behind this. Apparently Gaga asked Die Antwoord to open up for her during her two shows in South Africa later on this year. (She’ll be performing in Johannesburg on November 30 and in Cape Town on December 3.) For whatever reason, they said no.
Lady Gaga, not one to be bullied, sent a Twitter message that was effective and Gaga-like:
