SAY WHAT? Drake Says He's The First Person To Successfully Rap & Sing (DETAILS)

Fourth of July is long gone, but there are still some major declarations being made.

Canadian rapper Drake loves to sing just as much as he loves to rap, and he's been pretty good at being able to incorporate both elements of music in his songs. 

According to Drake, he's the first person to successfully rap and sing. 

In a recent interview with the Jewish Chronicle, Drake dished about his ability to sing and rap, stating: 

"There were people who incorporated melody before me, but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing."

Drake is definitely one of the more notable rapper/singers in our generation, but is he the first successful person to do both? 

Maybe he should talk to Lauryn Hill or Cee Lo Green and see what they say about his declaration.
