The Essence Music Festival in New Orleans is an A-list celebrity-filled event every year, and this year, things have gotten even bigger and better!
As the festivities are all set to wrap up today – ending with an epic performance by Beyonce – so many great performers have already left their mark on the stage. To kick things off favorites like Maxwell, Jill Scott, and Chrisette Michelle hit the mic.
Our girl Brandy took it alllll the way backwhen she sung hits like “The Boy Is Mine” and “I Wanna Be Down.”
And similarly to B-Rocka, LL Cool J rocked the unbelievable crowd with his throwback Hip-Hop hits and added lots of licking of the lips to keep the ladies reminiscing!!
There’s no denying Weezy’s hometown was definitely the place to be this weekend. In fact, his beautiful baby mama Lauren London showed up in red and took pictures with her longtime rumored boo, Trey Songz, who also performed this weekend alongside Solange and Keyshia Cole.
