Odd Future’s crooner Frank Ocean had a run-in with the cops last night and according to his tweets, it was a less than pleasant experience. Word spread that Ocean had been arrested and, consequently, locked up after the singer tweeted, “just got out of jail.” More would follow, as Ocean went on a rant against the cops, specifically LAPD.
“F— a cop, non-stop. frank will never speak to a cop again in his natural life. i have no respect for police,” Ocean tweeted. It’s not clear why the OFWGKTA member was arrested but we do know — thanks to a recent tweet — that the singer is still fuming from the incident. Ocean’s most recent tweet: “Asked the pig yesterday, why he chose to be a pig..his response ‘it’s the only job where u can kill someone and go to work the next day.'” Yikes.
While we’re glad to see the singer’s a free man, but there’s a bit of irony here. Ocean is expected to play a cop (or someone who sits on top of one) in the Tyler the Creator’s upcoming “Goblin” video.
