French Montana Reveals The Reason He Didn't Sign With Kanye (DETAILS)

French Montana said he was a shot caller, and he definitely called some major shots to solidify his record deal.

While operating as a free agent, rumors swirled that French Montana was being offered deals from Diddy, Rick Ross and Kanye West, but no one knew what camp he was going to eventually call "home." 

French stopped by Hot 97's Angie Martinez Show to give her insight into all of his business happenings, as well as the real reason why he didn't sign to Kanye's G.O.O.D. music label.

French Montana revealed: 

"We all big fans of Kanye and Jay-Z and everything. My think was I met up with him one time and then I met up with him again. Kanye doesn't have a phone, let's put it out there like that. If you want to get in contact with Kanye you have to email him. I mean you can't tell me to do that. I don't even know how to use an email. I guess me and you are never going to talk, and I'm putting my career in your hands, you know what I'm saying? He's definitely talented, and I feel like if I went there we would have definitely made history."

So Kanye's refusal to be connected to the world via phone, made French Montana go to another team?

We totally get it. It's definitely hard getting up with someone who doesn't have a phone, but email is just as efficient, well sort of.
