HBO hit The Wire was gone too soon!

When David Simon announced he was ending the critically acclaimed series, we couldn’t believe it – Officer Greggs, Bubbs and Omar Little were no longer going to be a part of our Sunday night line-ups.

But thanks to Funny or Die, and a few of our favorite Wire characters, that’s no longer the case.

The series didn’t make its epic return on HBO, as many of us would hope. It did however make its Broadway stage debut in a hilarious musical parody.

Sonja Sohn, Michael K. Williams, Larry Gilliard and Andre Royo reprised their roles as Kima Greggs, Omar Little, D’Angelo Barksdale and Bubbles, respectively, for the musical number.

And even Snoop (Felicia Pearson) makes a special guest appearance like you’ve never seen her before.
