Earlier today, XXL magazine revealed the cover for their upcoming September 2012 issue. Featured on the cover is a face we’ve grown accustomed to seeing over the years. Standing behind young gunner Kendrick Lamer is legendary prouder/rapper Dr. Dre.

Since Dr. Dre first bum rushed his way into the scene back in 1988 with the N.W.A. crew, the good doctor has appeared on over a dozen magazine covers, from niche magazines like Scratch and The Source, to more mainstream publications like Rolling Stone and Newsweek.
