Though he may be new to a few of us, Iron Solomon is no freshman to music’s top veterans. Talib Kweli, Lil Kim and DMC of RUN DMC have all already collaborated with the burgeoning emcee.

Snoop Dogg and Busta Rhymes reached out the born and bred New York rapper after they each spent hours pouring themselves over Iron Solomon’s rap footage.

“From the first YouTube video we saw, Kanye and I were super impressed… I feel privileged and honored to put people on to Iron Solomon for the few people that don’t know who he is” – 88 Keys

Fresh off the heels of his October 2011 mixtape release Red Rum, the next-up emcee is ready to release his debut studio album Monster (March 27th). The project is produced entirely by his in-house team and sonically, will mesh ‘trunk –rattling 808’s, hard hitting drums, lush synths and soulful horns.’

The entire album also promises to drip, drop with the witty lyricism Iron Solomon is widely known for.

The project will touch base on everything, including his come-up, life relationships and drama, and of course a ‘healthy dose of party and bullshit.’

“Iron Solomon is nasty…it gets me excited in the studio, to watch [him]…I get very inspired by that…”-Drake
