Is Jay-Z helping Mumford & Sons make a hip-hop album?

DETAILS: Hmmm...Mumford & Sons To Go Electronic On Next Album?!

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Grammy award-winning band divulged how they want to look past their indie-folk sound, and experiment with different sounds in the world of music.

"We definitely had a graduation to go through with the sound that we had through Sigh No More to Babel, and that sound to us feels satisfied. And that’s a sound we’ll always play. The world has been really supportive of those songs, but then there’s other sounds we want to make.”

Other sounds like hip-hop! And when hip-hop is your expressed interest, who better than King Hov to possibly assist you with such an endeavor?

"We really want to rap. We’ve got so much to say – saying it through a melody doesn’t really work for me. We’ve been talking with Jay-Z about it, you know. It’s gonna be a fresh experience for our band.”

This could prove to be something really genius! After all, Mumford & Sons are one of the dopest bands out there, and Jay is no stranger to collaborating with other artists.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.
