God bless "Miss America!" J. Cole recently released the debut single to his forthcoming sophomore album Born Sinner, which sounds like a sure fire banger.
The Roc Nation rapper linked up with Billboard at last night's AMAs to discuss his feelings about the "Miss America" song that's not necessarily tailor-made for radio play.
"If I could use my power in some kind of way. I'm going to try to use it to shift culture just a little bit, and to me "Miss America" shifts things a little bit. It changes the conversation. It takes it in a more aggressive direction, more raw, more social commentary..."
J. Cole followed up the news by announcing a short film set for December, as well as hinting that his album may hit shelves on January 28th - his birthday.
If Born Sinner is anything like its predecessor Cole World: The Sideline Story, it's bound to be a certified classic!
