COOL ASS COVERS: John Mayer Covers Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" (AUDIO)

Despite having to cancel his tour and SXSW shows due to his throat condition granuloma, John Mayer is still immersed in the music.

John Mayer gave his throat a rest, but he put his fingers to work to cover Lana Del Rey's smash hit "Video Games."

The "Daughters" singer covered "Video Games" via his guitar and it's quite amazing.

John posted the audio of his cover on his personal Tumblr, and simply stated:

"Video Games (dub solo electric) w/Binson Echorec.”

Even though there aren't any vocals on the cover, John does the cover justice with his impeccable guitar skills.

John Mayer's readying his new album Born And Raised, due out May 22.
