Brooklyn-based MC Josh Baze is gearing up for a big year. The newcomer has been releasing singles and prepping his debut on Griffin Guess’ Cartel Records.

With comparisons to Kanye ― due to his connection to Guess (the producer and talent manager credited with getting Kanye on his way early in his career) ― Baze hopes to grabs people’s attention with his music and not just for his cosign.
