Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" record is breaking all kinds of records on the radio.
The 18-year-old singer recently released his first official "hip-hop" song "Boyfriend" and it's been a banger on the radio.
The Mike Posner-produced track has been getting more spins on the radio than a power play.
Bieber's "Boyfriend" received over 400,000 downloads in the first week, and finds itself at number 20 on Billboard's Top 40 Radio Airplay chart.
"Boyfriend" has been played a whopping 3,961 times in its first week on 129 of the 134 total reporting stations.
Getting so many spins on the radio scored Justin Bieber the bragging rights of being the first male artist to receive the highest radio plays in a week since Billboard created the chart 20 years ago.
Congrats to Bieber for doing his thing!
