Last week, Justin Timberlake released his long-awaited third album, and first week projections for the album weren’t far behind. In fact, they were nipping at the heels of the album’s release.
And after it was reported that JT’s new album could sell more than 800,000 units in its first week, that prediction has come to fruition.
According to HDD, The 20/20 Experience has sold 980,000 copies – in its first week.
This officially makes it #1 on the charts, as well as the highest first week figures by a male artist since Lil Wayne‘s Carter IV.
Not to mention, it’s the highest-selling album since Taylor Swift‘s Red.
We know the “Suit & Tie” singer is feeling quite dapper right about now!
