Earlier this week, Kanye West returned to tweeting random thoughts a-la-yeezy-mode, and amongst those tweets, ‘Ye expressed his desire to DJ a New Years Eve party under the moniker “Yeezy World Peace,” no DJ attached.
So after the world had Yeezy World Peace’s DJ name correct, the rapper got his New Years wish granted when he took over the turntables at the grand opening of 1OAK nightclub at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

Y.W.P (yes, ‘Ye we shortened it) treated partygoers to a share of Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and a healthy mix of 2011’s biggest hits.
We can’t be mad at Yeezy for attempting to branch out even more, but if his going rates as Yeezy World Peace are anything like the ones he charges for performances at Bah Mitzvahs, and Sweet 16′s then we will just catch his set on the radio.
