What doesn’t kill you only makes you…yeah, yeah we all know the cliché.

However, our girl Kelly Clarkson has a way of making even the stalest cliché sound fresh and cool.

Let’s use “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” her second single off of her fifth album Stronger, as an example. The defiant pop singer mixes a catchy, poppy hook with a strong message about overcoming adversity.

Who says you can’t have both?

As for the video, it starts off as a straight performance piece, Kelly sings with a little bit of an attitude in front of a band and then the video transitions into a lot of shots of people dancing and rocking out to the song.

Yeah, it's pretty random, but we think it's kind of quirky, and we're digging it.
