Kendrick Lamar had a dope year in 2012 with his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city, which recently got the certified gold stamp of approval. And in 2013, ain't no killing the 25-year-old Compton rapper's vibe, ya bish!
Aside from the release of a video for "Backseat Freestyle," this year kicks off with Kendrick being booked later this month for one of the most epic late-night sketch comedy shows on television, Saturday Night Live.
He will appear as a musical guest on the January 26th episode featuring Adam Levine as the host.
And what's cool about this pairing is that not only is it K-Dot's first time performing on SNL, but it will be Levine's first time on hosting duty. As far as providing music, he's been in Kendrick Lamar's shoes plenty times.
Don't forget to tune in on the 26th, and enjoy the good kid doing his thing live!
