It looks like Lady Gaga's severe joint inflammation injury is getting the best of her.
The "Born This Way" singer initially announced that she would be canceling three tour dates in Chicago, Detroit, and Canada, but after further medical review, Mother Monster will be forced to cancel the remainder of her tour.
After receiving a new development on Gaga's health, Lady Gaga's camp released a statement further detailing her canceled tour:
"Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled.
After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal.
Refunds for the cancelled performances will be available at point of purchase starting Feb 14, 2013."
We hope Lady Gaga has a speedy recovery.
Any progress on Lady Gaga's forthcoming new album, ARTPOP, will probably be delayed due to her severe injury.
Refunds for the tour will be available today.
