YMCMB is a family affair, but what if they independently had to compete against one another?
Two of the heaviest male hitters in the Cash Money crew are undoubtedly Lil Wayne and Toronto native Drake, but what if the tables turned and instead of dominating the industry as a twosome, the pair had to go against one another? If you had to choose just one, who would it be?
Drake may be a newcomer to the game, but his lyrics appeal to the masses. He knows just the right note to sing to get to the ladies and the right bars to rap to get the fellas listening.
Formerly a child actor, Drake came on the scene and dominated with his mixtape So Far Gone. Drake became famous off a mixtape, as he later rapped, and has penned songs for some of the greatest, and sold over 5 million records worldwide and also went platinum. But could he hold his own on a rap battle against YMCMB president Lil Wayne?
Call him Lil Wayne, Weezy or Tunechi, the 29-year-old has accomplished more in his career than some of the G.O.A.Ts can claim game to. Joining the rap game at just 11 years old under the guidance of Birdman aka Baby, Lil Wayne saw career highs before he even saw puberty. He continued on top and eventually formed his own record label YMCMB. With 10 albums under his belt, could Wayne still beat newcomer Drake when it came to a lyrical battle?
We know that the two are side-by-side as brothers, but if there was a rap battle that forced the two to go against one another, who would come out as the victor?
