It was just two years ago when the boy Mac Miller was just another independent, underground rapper putting out free albums. Now he has his own show on MTV2.

According to Hollywood Reporter, MTV2 has started filming a realty show starring Mac Miller and his Most Dope crew. The show will be like a real-life Entourage, as we see Mac and his crew go from their hometown of Pittsburgh to Hollywood. The series will also show footage of Mac making his upcoming sophomore album Watching Movies With the Sound Off.

Speaking about the show, Mac said:
“Yes, I have a show on MTV2. It’s very cool. Being an independent artist, I think it’s important to find different ways to bring attention to what you are doing. With Watching Movies coming out, I just want to do whatever I can to make sure everybody hears that.”
The show will have six episodes and it will debut early in 2013.
