Mac Miller gives us his soul in his new video “Of The Soul.”

DETAILS: Mac Miller’s “Donald Trump” Goes Gold!

Our favorite independent Jewish rapper Mac Miller is kicking his new year off right with a new heartfelt video.

Mac Miller stands solo with only Blue Slide Park cover art, which his older brother Miller McCormick designed, and a few modern dancers in the background as he raps about hip-hop and his life.

The Ian Wolfson-directed video is good, yet very simple for the “Party On 5th Ave” rapper who’s usually accompanied by a gang of friends. The song’s title and lyrics nod to legendary hip-hop group De La Soul, who are an obvious musical inspiration to Mac.

Mac Miller’s album Blue Slide Park was the biggest selling independently released album since Tha Dogg Pound’s Dogg Food in 1995.

Blue Slide Park sold over 148,915 copies in it’s first week and is currently available for purchase in stores now.
