DMX is such a rap icon that he will always have a legion of fans, but probably none bigger than Machine Gun Kelly!

In this upcoming Lace Up documentary, fans get to check out MGK during his first interaction with his Ruff Ryders role model. He even reiterates how X is his favorite artist, and the one responsible for him pursuing his promising rap career.

The clip kicks off with Kelly demonstrating that it's possible to still be a fan, even if you're famous, outside of the Salt Mine Studios in Phoenix, Arizona, by letting it be known that he's nervous to meet DMX for the first time.

Things quickly jump to scenes of both rappers just "vibing." In fact, according to X, they vibed in the studio for like two hours - no music.

And there's nothing like chemistry between two like-minded individuals, especially artists. The rapport they established gave way to a song called, "D3mons," which makes a whole lot of sense.

"D3mons" will appear on Kelly's debut album Lace Up coming out October 9th.
