Rick Ross and the Maybach Music team held a special press conference at the Def Jam offices today.

Swizz Beatz, Diddy, Chairman and CEO of Warner Music Group Lyor Cohen and the MMG artists – sans Stalley – were all in attendance.

RapRadar.com and Respect Mag founder Elliott Wilson moderated the event and kept the flow very smooth, asking the Bawse some questions that revealed a little more behind-the-music details of the Maybach Music empire.

Swizz Beatz took to the podium and revealed a few unknown facts about Rozay as well, ultimately placing the MMG General in a whole new creative light.

The Maybach Music family announced the release dates of their upcoming projects – including Rozay, who finally shared the release date of his sixth studio album God Forgives, I Don’t.

But the biggest announcement of them all was dedicated to naming the newest member of the MMG family. Safe to say, no one saw this one coming.

But for all of you who didn’t get a chance to tune in to the live stream, GlobalGrind’s got you covered. Here’s a list of the 10 things we found out from the Maybach Music press conference:

10. Rick Ross goes hard with the paint – As Swizz Beatz spoke of Ross’ reverence and affinity for music, he also revealed that the MMG Bawse is sick with the brush and paint. Is Rick Ross the new Basquiat?

9. French Montana‘s MMG debut project Excuse My French is slated to drop July 17th. And oh yeah! We’re all invited to his ‘models in bikinis’ birthday party.

8. Meek Mill‘s mixtape Dreamchasers 2 will drop May 7th.

7. Meek Mill’s debut album Dream & Nightmares will officially drop August 28th. A new single from off the project will drop in the beginning of June.

6. Wale‘s third studio album is set to drop later this year – possibly December 2012.

5. The MMG team is gearing up to drop Self Made Vol.2 June 6th.

4. As an extension of his new partnership with Reebok, Rick Ross plans to build a clothing line dedicated for the ‘big&tall’ gentlemen who struggle with finding the right fits for their everyday wardrobe.

3. Rick Ross’s highly anticipated album God Forgives, I Don’t will officially drop July 31st. Additionally, Rozay revealed that none of the previously released singles will be featured on the new album. The project will be sonically distinct from all of his previous projects.

2. The newest signee to the Maybach Music team is R&B heartthrob Omarion – aka Maybach O

1. Omarion’s first single and video under the MMG family will be called “Let’s Talk.” Expect to see a fan-dedicated EP and a few more visual projects from the singer in the weeks and months to come.
