Posted August 16, 2011 by Brittany Lewis for Global Grind Staff

Odd Future's Mellowhype reflect on their lives on their latest track "67."

Questioning if they're all alone in this world, Hodgy Beats and Left Brain get personal on their new release.

Rapping about absentee fathers, their inner anger and females, Mellowhype didn't spare any people or their own feelings from their reflective wrath.

Hodgey Beats raps about his dead-beat dad, "I can relate tears/I haven't seen my father for seven going on eight years/ 13 in the spot/left me like I'ma wait here."

He continues to go in on his father, "And they ask me why my father couldn't be a man/he's a lullaby/and the song just got off at 2:24 seconds/sh*t my temper is like two minutes from lifting this weapon."

Despite being some of the most controversial members of hip-hop, Odd Future are a bunch of uber-talented kids who have a lot to say.
