With the New Year right around the corner, many of our favorite artists are gearing up to release their highly anticipated and long-waited albums.

GlobalGrind decided to round up 23 artists with the most anticipated albums of 2013. From elusive artists like Jay Electronica, who has postponed his album for an ungodly amount of time, to highly anticipated albums like Kid Cudi’s Indicud album, many of the artists on our list were supposed to release albums in the fourth quarter of 2012, but with clearance issues and last minute sampling regulations, some artists chose to wait until the new year.

As you look through our list, you’ll quickly realize that Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky isn’t present.

Due to his album leaking an entire month before, the whole world has practically heard his album already, so we’ve given him an honorable mention.

Although we assume Jay-Z and Kanye West may make new album announcements sometime this year, there hasn’t been any official talk of new albums from either artist, so they too are left off the list.
