The year isn't quite over yet, but Jay-Z gives us plenty reasons to wish it was already 2012!
Aside from his historical announcement of headlining shows at the famous Carnegie Hall in February, King Hov spoke to MTV News about dropping his own solo project, along with another album with The Throne's other member, Kanye West, next year.
"It depends on how this thing finishes up," Jay said in reference to his and Kanye's current Watch the Throne Tour. "We — I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode — we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we're really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone."
Jay references The Throne's hit "N*ggas In Paris" as he repeats "zone," showing how successful and relevant his work with Kanye continues to be and why another joint album would be a good look.
We can't wait!
