Well, that didn’t take long, did it?
A couple of hours after Cash Money released a press release to officially announce that rapper Mystikal would be signing to the label, the rapper’s first single under the CM flag was released.
STORY: DANGER! Mystikal Signs Deal With Cash Money
“Original,” which features his new boss Birdman and Lil Wayne has Mystikal sounding like he never missed a beat.
This isn’t a situation where Mystikal's skills have diminished. No, this is early 2000 Mystikal rapping over a 2011 synth heavy beat (which sounds a lot like “I’m On One,” by the way.)

On the track Mystikal uses his breathless, rapid fire, awkward flow to spit likes like:
“Who out here fu*king with me, huh, tell me that? I’m about to drop some sh*t, where my pamper at? Try to answer that, but give me my mantel back. I bury you cockroaches, should have left me where I was at.”
Birdman and Lil Wayne do what they usually do on a track, but honestly this song is all about Mystikal, and we feel like it's a great start to this alliance.
What do you think?
