Who better to tell “A Queens Story” than one of the borough’s illest on the mic?

Nasir Jones, along with producer Salaam Remi, crafted a dope narrative about the NYC borough.

VIDEO: Nas & Swizz Beatz Get “Nasty” At The ESPYs

On the old-school vibe track, the Life Is Good emcee raps:

“November thirtieth / another Queens king killed / it f*cked me up, y’all / I was just trying to make it with Steve Stout / the legal way, drug-free route / Back in the days / they was sleepin’ on us / Brooklyn keep on taking it / Manhattan keep on making it / trying to leave Queens out / but we was pulling them Beems out / them M3’s out”

MUSIC: Nas “Bye Baby”

The single is void of a discernable hook, but pianist Chloe Flower kills it in an emotive solo towards the end of the cut.

It’s everything you’d expect from a Nas song, and more.
