As their two collaborations, “Where Dem Girls At” and “Turn Me On,” prove, Nicki Minaj and French DJ David Guetta have great chemistry.

Now we get to see that chemistry live. The two will join forces to open up the 39th annual American Music Awards, live from the NOKIA Theatre in L.A.

Even if Nicki wasn't set to open the show, chances are that she would still be in the building. She is up for two awards for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for Pink Friday, her debut album.  

NEW MUSIC: David Guetta & Usher "Without You"

We're not sure which collaborations they will be performing that night, but we can only assume it's going to be "Where Dem Girls At," the lead single from Guetta's Nothing But The Beat album.  

The 2011 American Music Awards will air on November 20th, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
