2 Chainz is one of the hottest rappers in the game.

It wasn't always like this for the Atlanta-based rapper though. As one half of the group Playas Circle, he, along with his partner Dolla, had to grind away for years before their group got noticed. And we think we know why.

His rap name used to be Tity Boi.

The transition from Tity Boi to 2 Chainz just proves how vital a rap name can be. Because once the Atlanta rapper went solo and dropped his silly male-stripper-sounding name, he instantly caught fire.

And really, it just makes sense. 2 Chainz sounds sooo much more cooler than Tity Boi.
