It’s that time of year again and the anticipation can be felt throughout New York City. Flags are already in the air in a celebratory fashion for one of the biggest displays of Puerto Rican pride ― The National Puerto Rican Day Parade. 

The parade will take place this Sunday (June 12) and in celebration, here is a list of notable Puerto Rican musicians including J. Lo and more. Boricuas stand up!

This Puerto Rican princess burst onto the music scene with famous hits such as “If You Had My Love” and “Waiting For Tonight” and remixes to “Ain’t It Funny” and “I’m Real.”

Over a decade later, Jennifer Lopez is still at it, producing records like “On the Floor” and scoring a role as one of the judges on “American Idol."
